What we do

Keep the focus on the performance.

A clear session plan makes room for the read that connects. We work with your team on tone, timing, pronunciation, and the relationship between the voice and picture. Bring a voice you already have, or talk to us about casting. We’ll help shape the recording workflow and selected takes into the next stage of your project.

Casting support

Share the audience, character, tone, references, and intended use so we can discuss voices that fit the brief.

Creative direction

Work through timing, emphasis, alternate reads, and the brand’s character with the people making the creative decisions.

Studio and remote recording

Plan an in-studio session or a remote recording via Source-Connect, with the talent and listeners’ setups confirmed in advance.

Dialogue editing

Shape selects, timing, breaths, and transitions into a voice edit that works naturally with picture.

ADR and pickups

Discuss replacement dialogue, script changes, or pickups, including the picture reference and what needs to match.

Through the final mix

Continue with sound design, music, and mixing at Swell, or agree on the voiceover files needed by your next team.

Frequently asked questions

Before we start.

Can the voice actor record remotely?

Yes. We can arrange a Source-Connect session when the talent’s recording setup and connection suit the project. Send their technical details and location so we can confirm the workflow before booking.

Does our team need to be in the studio?

No. Your team can join remotely to listen and give notes. Tell us who needs to attend and who will approve the read so we can plan a focused session.

Can you help us cast the voice?

Yes. Bring your chosen talent or talk to us about casting. The audience, desired tone, references, schedule, and usage all help define the search and the session scope.

What should we send before recording?

Send the latest script, pronunciation notes, timing requirements, picture if available, and a list of alternate lines or versions. We’ll also confirm the file format, editing needs, and whether you want selected takes or a finished voice edit.

Got a script?

Send it with your preferred dates, talent or casting needs, and intended use. We’ll help plan the voice and the session.
